AdvoCATS, Inc. is an ALL-VOLUNTEER 501(c)(3) non-profit organized in 1999 and dedicated to the well-being of Hawaii Islands's homeless cat population.  We support the Trap-Neuter-Return "TNR" program as the humane way to reduce the number of unwanted cats and prevent the spread of feline diseases.  Read more about TNR

Helping Hawaii's homeless felines since 1999

did you know?

Each day hundreds of feral (wild) kittens are born on the Hawaiian Islands. As long as these birth rates exist, there will never be enough homes for all these animals.

Feral kittens are born into a harsh environment.   The Kona side of the island has no source of fresh water, no rivers, no streams. Many do not survive.  Innocent, healthy kittens do not deserve to suffer and die needlessly. They should never have been born, though it is no fault of their own.  Trap-Neuter-Return is the only answer to the endless tragedy of feline overpopulation and disease.

Have a Cat for Adoption or Want to Adopt a Cat?We can help find good homes for kittens and adoptable adult cats.

Meow Mahalo for your kindness!

While we are happy to assist you with TNR-ing cats in your neighborhood, we CANNOT and WILL NOT remove cats permanently from your neighborhood that may be spraying and/or making noise while mating.  We must RETURN any trapped cats that have been neutered or spayed to the location where they were trapped.  It is our experience that objectionable behaviors very often disappear after cats are spayed or neutered. For more information on SPAY/NEUTER CLINICS, reserve traps or to make reservations, contact Cindy direct by phone/text (808) 895-9283 or Email Cindy at cindyt@hawaii.rr.com.
